Digoxin: Cautions

Determination of the plasma level can be useful for the individualization of the therapy (blood samples should be taken at the earliest eight hours after the last dose!) or in the case of an overdose. The 'therapeutic' range is between 1.0 to 2.6 nmol/l (0.8 to 2.0 µg/l).
