Protonenpumpenhemmer fördern Kolonisation mit multiresistenten Keimen

Wie eine systematische Übersicht zeigte, in der 26 Kohorten- und Fall-Kontroll-Studien zusammengefasst worden waren, erhöhen Protonenpumpenhemmer das Risiko einer intestinalen Kolonisation mit multiresistenten Keimen (OR = 1,74 [1,40–2,16]); dies trifft sowohl auf multiresistente Enterobakterien als auch auf vancomycinresistente Enterokokken zu.
